Office Manager

Overview:

We are looking to add an Office Manager to our busy custom upholstery shop team.  The prime candidate must be detail-focused, organized and a self-starter.

Primary Duties:

  • Answer phone and respond emails throughout the day

  • Assist with preparation of estimates

  • Assist in management of workflow to include monitoring assignments and productivity to ensure efficiency and timeliness in fulfilling workorders

  • Compose and update client invoices

  • Receive customer/client payments for completed jobs

  • Complete online bank deposits at the end of each day

  • Assist Owner with administrative/clerical duties, including processing of payroll

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-focused

  • Must possess basic computer skills

​

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with MS Office and QuickBooks a plus

  • Working knowledge of fabrics, figuring yardage and estimates a plus

  • Previous experience in interior design related field a plus

  • Previous workroom/upholstery experience a plus

​

Hours:

  • Monday thru Friday  9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

​

Compensation:

  • Non-classified hourly position

  • Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience
