Learn how to make a professional 18" throw pillow with piping and zipper.  We will start with the proper way to block fabric onto grain, learn how to measure/mark fabric cuts, how to install a zipper and apply piping/welt.  You will complete a custom pillow to take home.

• You will bring your own domestic sewing machine and thread.

• You must know how to sew using your own sewing machine, know how to thread your machine and make a bobbin.

• Bring a zipper foot OR a welt/piping foot that will accommodate 5/32" piping.

• Bring 1 yard of 54" wide SOLID fabric.  If you want to do contrast piping/welt, bring an additional 1/2 yard of 54" wide fabric.  Unsprung has fabric available for purchase for $10 per yard.  Bring your fabric at signup to make sure it is appropriate.
